Tandem Building Group was appointed by Essendon Fields to manage the design and construction of the new home of Elenium Automation. Contract works included the design, necessary authority approvals including the Airport Building Controller and the construction of Elenium’s new facility which included a 2 storey office, warehouse, hardstands and car parking. The development allows expansive views across the airfield, while maintaining a quiet workspace due to the high specification acoustic design. This workplace reflects and allows showcasing of Elenium’s innovative technologies as well as providing a place where the assembly of their high-tech products to take place. The building included sustainable measures such as rainwater harvesting and reuse and a comprehensive solar panel system on the roof of the warehouse.
