We first engaged with Tandem Building Group for the relocation of the MVRC Administration function. Tandem was consistent from the first tender interview to post completion, delivering a complex design and build within the existing MVRC Grandstand on time, on budget and safely, while maintaining a high level of quality. Off the back of our first positive experience, the MVRC then engaged Tandem to complete the design and construction of the new TOTE Bar and Dining - the repurposing of an existing heritage building at MVRC. Again, Tandem has engaged proactively through all phases of design and construction, consistently delivering to client objectives. The team has been an absolute pleasure to deal with!

The MVRC embarked on a historic transformation of the racecourse precinct of which Tandem Building Group was engaged alongside of Linear Designs. The first stage of works involved the fit out of a new MVRC administration space in the existing grandstand across two areas – Level 3 Carvery Area and the Ground Floor Information area. The turn key fit out delivery included a new kitchen, meeting rooms, boardroom, in-house museum, server room and open plan office with feature furniture and high-level joinery finishes. In the planning stage, Tandem were able to identify and provide crucial alternative value options, these underpinned changes to the construction methodology, which the client accepted and implemented. This was a key value add for the client in the successful delivery of this turn key fit out.
