I congratulate the Tandem team on the successful delivery of a challenging project. Their willingness to work with the building owner and minimise disruption is a credit to the team.

Tandem Building Group successfully delivered the Plaza Lobby upgrade and New Goods Lift within the premium office building at 600 Bourke Street - Bourke Place, located in central Melbourne. Tandem’s planning was crucial in maintaining access for the public for the project duration including daily deliveries, lift maintenance, cleaning and general deliveries through the existing goods lift. The lift serviced all 51 floors located in the centre of the construction site. The project scope entailed the removal and relocation of the existing base building services around the path of the new goods lift and constructing the reinforced concrete lift shaft. The plaza fit out was coordinated with the base building lift contractor OTIS and comprised of coffered plasterboard ceilings, mosaic tiling and Corian wall surfaces with terrazzo tiled floors.
