Following the successful build of the event space in Southwharf, Food & Desire appointed Tandem for their most significant project to date. The idea was to convert an existing office and 100 year old warehouse facility into a multi-faceted hospitality venue, including a new production kitchen, event venue and restaurant/cafe/bar. The space was thoughtfully approached to combine functionality and design. The architectural viewpoint was a perfect combination of bringing the history of the building to life and delivering a contemporary edge to the space. From the cathedral style window, to the slate flooring in the private dining area, to the glass house, fire pit and pizza oven areas, all of these elements creating a special backdrop for guests. The team worked seamlessly to present balanced solutions and delivered a quality project in a challenging and complex environment. Tandem delivered a unique experience in a truly unique building.
