–Resident’s Son, Oakfield Rise Retirement Estate
Tandem are currently delivering Stages 5 & 6 and Stages 7 & 8 of the prestigious Oakfield Rise Retirement Estate in Mount Barker. Together, these two contracts encompass the construction of 96 diverse dwellings, each thoughtfully designed with a variety of floorplans and unique façades.
Stages 5 & 6 of the development are nearing completion, delivering 58 villas along with communal garden areas and pedestrian pathways. The project has been strategically set up in phased handovers of 8 to 12 villas to improve build efficiency and support a smoother, faster handover process for Southern Cross Care and their residents.
Stages 7 & 8 commenced on site in early 2025, reaching peak activity across the estate in May, with 79 homes under construction simultaneously. The first 11 villas in Phase 1 have progressed through key build stages, while the remaining 27 villas – delivered across five additional phases – are advancing through various stages of completion, from footings and framework to roof cover and brickwork.
