St Columba’s College engaged the services of Tandem in 2014 for the complete renovation of the College’s Sophia Library. We were delighted with the professionalism of their project management. With a keen eye to detail and exceeding the College’s expectations of the final outcome. This was the start of an ongoing professional relationship that resulted in many subsequent renovation projects, including the recent installation of an external passenger lift to an existing building. The Project Manager and team are solutions driven, very consultative and always has the College’s interests at heart with each project - no matter the size of the budget.

Tandem were appointed by St Columba’s College to deliver the refurbishment of the Sophia building. The Sophia Library has been transformed by Tandem into a dynamic, multimedia learning environment. The contemporary design converted a previously large open space into an accessible hub of reading, research and presentation zones. This modern architecture, encourages student engagement and participation. The library is now an energy efficient space, where teachers and information specialists partner to enhance the research, study and social skills of the students, reflecting best practice in contemporary learning.
