It’s International Women’s Day!
It was fantastic to kick off our International Women’s Day celebrations at NAWIC SA’s International Women’s Day 2023 Leadership Lunch at SkyCity Adelaide, and what a day it was! This luncheon was a testament to the progress we have made towards gender equality in the industry, while also highlighting the work that still needs to be done.
The Tandem team takes great pride in the fact that our workforce is comprised of both male and female staff members who are offered equal opportunities to excel in their respective roles. We remain steadfast in our commitment to building a workplace that is inclusive, supportive and equitable for all.
Today, we celebrated the progress we’ve made towards gender equality and recognised the important role that women play in our communities and across the construction industry. Our team enjoyed a morning tea and showed their solidarity by dressing in pink to symbolise our commitment to promoting gender equity and equality.
We would like to thank NAWIC SA for their ongoing support in promoting an equitable construction industry where women fully participate. Let us continue to focus on building an inclusive workforce through equitable action and decrease the barriers of entry that women face in our industry.
