The merger of retail giants David Jones and the Country Road Group saw Tandem Building Group engaged to deliver their new headquarters, Botannica. An office space consisting of 22,500m2 across two buildings located in Richmond, Melbourne. Precision construction timelines of Building 1 spanned across 8,000m2 and required critical planning from the Project Team as the key challenge directed the relocation of 800 staff from their Sydney office. Tandem worked with pace and precision and delivered Stage 1 in record time. This project encompasses Tandem’s ability to work holistically with the client, designers, engineers and Project Manager, to deliver a high design space on budget and on time. A great project outcome for all team members and an exciting new space for the David Jones | Country Road Group.
