Tandem delivered an exciting project for the University of Adelaide. The purpose-built student accommodation complex and state-of-the-art student hub was a key milestone to support the University community. The team at Tandem ran programming that took into consideration all the requirements of a live operating university precinct. Their thorough and open approach allowed for outstanding management of the varied stakeholder groups and importantly the end user. Tandem’s transparency allowed for a great sense of trust throughout the project and has seen a great result delivered for the University of Adelaide.

Working closely with the University of Adelaide, Tandem Building Group created a purpose-built student accommodation complex and state-of-the-art student hub – bringing together social and educational facilities with access to all of Adelaide’s CBD amenities and a city lifestyle. The Village provides generous and secure accommodation for more than 400 university students. The layout is intended to be reminiscent of a village – creating a sense of community, enhanced by pedestrian-only access streets, common facilities, a village green, laundry and secure basement car parking facilities, all in excess of 2,500 square metres. The Village is actively managed and maintained with a long-term lease commitment from the University of Adelaide.
