We’re thrilled to announce our pivotal role in bringing Babcock’s defence facility to life! Yesterday’s sod-turning ceremony marked an inspiring start to our week as we commenced construction, with civil and earthworks now underway.
This $31 million project involves the construction of a 4000m2 purpose-built manufacturing and maintenance facility, in addition to a separate administrative support building. This facility will provide a foundation for Babcock to support critical land and naval defence programs, including the renowned Collins-class submarine fleet.
This collaboration is a testament to our dedication to excellence in the defence sector. With around 200 construction roles to be created throughout the build, we are committed to reaching project completion by Q3 2024.
