Exciting progress on site at Eighty Eight O’Connell!
Our second tower crane was erected on the 29th April and we are now ready to reach new heights! It has also been 1 year since our 88 O’Connell St team commenced construction, and what a year it has been.
Some quick statistics on our progress to share at this 12-month milestone:
– 164 retention piles
– 205 foundation piles
– 1924m2 of shotcrete
– 1,160 tonnes of steel
– 3,546m3 of concrete poured
– 204,800 tonnes of spoil removed with over 7,846 truck trips
– Maximum tonnes removed in a day: 4,100 tonnes
– Maximum loads (truck trips) in a day: 158 loads
